If you couldn’t tell, we’ve been crazy busy here. We’ve been contacted by several labels to release some of our tracks. And as this is an incredibly great thing for us, the blog has suffered. We promise to do our best to catch up.
As we mentioned before, “Into The Night (Jazz-e’s Relectrofucinmix) is being released on Funktion Recordings out of Chicago. This is Josh the Funky 1‘s imprint and we are proud to represent. We will be letting you all know the exact release date very soon and where you can purchase it. It also features 2 blazin remixes. One by Anjiro Rijo and another by Vince Moogin & Greed ‘n Pride.

First up is an EP from one of our own, out now – Lewis CanCut’s “Neon Saxaphone”. This ep is seriously great – there’s great consistency and a really strong sound and vision behind it.
Remixes from Mexican Guarachero man, Chico Ye, the Melbourne live cumbia band The Cumbia Cosmonauts and Sonido Del Principe…
At the inner core of Scattermusic is Lewis CanCut with his clean cut, calipo / splice nature. Always perverting club tropical beats, layering bass like cake, flipping a sound library into a deep carnival crumpet. A flanged horn forms raspberry kisses, and a punch and kick resemble the crowd participation at the West Indian 2010 20/20 Cricket Finals. LCC is Melbourne’s Pizza slice of Cumbia’s and Carioca. His gumbo is titled Neon Saxophone. The fiesta can he heard in Get Low and Can of Drink both preaching club tropical, and the now revered Cumbia Theme adds to this chapter via respect to a traditional Cumbia rhythm. The whole project then gets a remix treatment via a huge Latin connection. Chico Ye gets Mexican and puts the tribal club touch to Get Low, the Netherland’s Sonido Del Principe drops cumbia club tropix over Can Of Drink, and Scattermusic newbie’s Cumbia Cosmonauts re-shake Cumbia Theme, knowing its full heritage, then sending it to Alpha Centauri. The package is 100% tempos for a tropical throw down, and is the essential club package from LCC and his cohorts.

On top of that, we just had a release from a shit hot new young gun – Lucid. Again an ep with an individual and consistent sound, yet Lucid’s sound is much more Ghetto, Electro, Tuff and Bangin.
