It’s that time of year again! Winter Music Conference is upon us. We will be down in Miami representing Chubby Fingers. We had a blast at WMC in 2010 and we are looking forward to it this year. We met a lot of really cool people last year. If you are going to WMC and would like to hook up with us contact us at contact@chubbyfingers.com.
Nervous Records – one of dance music’s longest running and most respected labels – is pleased to announce the signing ofLützenkirchen – Munich’s foremost electro-techno exponent. The first product of this new relationship is the April 16 global release ofNervous Nitelife: Lützenkirchen. This special two-CD release features One Disc packed entirely with all Lützenkirchen tracks and a Second Discfeaturing the best tracks from Great Stuff (Lützenkirchen’s home label) over the past few months.
Blending infectious, jacking techno grooves with dirty electro sounds and dashes of house, Lützenkirchen’s sound is electronic as they come, but with a real sense of funk that makes his music accessible to a wide range of DJs, clubbers and part-time dance music enthusiasts. From his huge remixes for the likes of John Digweed and Coburn to his outstanding 2008 artist album Pandora Electronica, the power and quality of his productions rarely slip. Meanwhile his acclaimed live sets continue to grow in reputation, his charismatic stage presence bringing a breath of fresh air to the usual limp and lifeless laptop workout. In recent years he scored a German Top 10 chart hit with the huge “3 Tage Wach” while putting out a prolific, consistent stream of cool and credible club tracks.
If you’re in NYC, please mark February 27 on your calendar for an explosive night of club music presented by Nervous Records. The label’s commitment to discovering new talent is the focus of this evening as Nervous presents an exciting double bill featuring a rare North American live performance from Lützenkirchen and the North American debut of Hungary’s Muzzaik (the talk of the most recent Amsterdam Dance Event).

13 years since founder Paul ‘Trouble’ Arnold started his weekly party at The Bug Bar in the crypt of St. Matthew’s Church, Brixton Chew The Fat! remains synonymous with fresh parties, cutting edge music and good, honest, unpretentious fun. In Paul’s own words… “over the 13 years we have grown a little, continued to evolve musically and still manage to have plenty of fun”.
This collection of 13 tracks, including some of our favourite Fat! Records releases from over the years (the Apollo Kids track was the earliest mp3 we could find), originals and remixes from artists playing at our 13th birthday party and a few exclusives, is our birthday present to you. Enjoy!

I am honored to be playing at the 2 year Anniversary of GoldSweat. GoldSweat is a collaborative of DJs from around the country. My man Ryan Rosario (Just Loco) is an integral part of this collective. I met Just Loco [
http://www.clubninetyone.blogspot.com ] during the Energy 92.7 Ultimate DJ Competition 2009. We quickly became friends at the preliminary battles where we both won. Unfortunately, both of us lost in the semifinals. Ever since then we’ve been trying to link up our crews. Finally, he has done it.
On top of that I get to play with the homie B-Cause. If you don’t know B-Cause, you should. Check out his blog…
http://diamondsinthedust.blogspot.com/ . He is an infuential dj and producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. His knowledge of music is incredible. Spanning from funk and soul and jazz to bay area slaps he has pretty much defined DJing around here alone and with his crew 4onefunk. I respect each and every one of them along with the GoldSweat crew.
I also really want to hear Shane King of Hacksaw Entertainment. I have never met him but have heard a lot about him and I know of Hacksaw. They put on quality shows here around the Bay. The first time I saw Jack Beats last August in San Francisco was because of them.
I don’t know what I am going to play yet at the anniversary but I’m really looking forward to it! Hope you all can make it out on the 30th of July. It is most definitely going be a hot event! Also, I hope Chubby Fingers collaborates more with all of these talented cats in the very near future.

If you can’t tell, I am excited to be going to Miami for WMC! And very excited to go see ELITE FORCE and ZODIAC CARTEL.
The General has just released a new remix of Lee Combs’ “Punji”.
I was definitely feeling his heater “Emanuel Kosh – Make My Music (Zodiac Cartel Remix)” so I was looking forward to this. He does not disappoint. One of my favorite tracks ever is “Elite Force – Jack the Joint [Zodiac Cartel's Flowing Mix]“. To me, this track has some of the same elements so I’m on it!
Take a listen below. It is out on now on LOT49 so get over to Beatport and buy it!
If you’re in Hungary, the South of France or out in Miami at WMC (like us) :) in the next 10 days or so and fancy taking in some Elite Force (and Zodiac Cartel) action, then I will be playing at the following parties …
19 Mar Zodiac Cartel @ U&A Recordings #01, Corvinteto, Budapest, HUNGARY
20 Mar Bounce 5th Anniversary, Toulouse, FRANCE
24 Mar Project Mayhem, Bar 721, Miami, USA
