Kush Arora and RecordLabelRecords present Boiling Over, a collection of 7 tracks highlighting the dynamic and dark cultural dubstep style that Kush has done in his collaborations and singles over the past 2 years. From tribal grime explorations to UK garage this is a fluid journey through the outer realms of the bass underground.
The rythms on tracks like ‘Boiling Over’ are programmed in a more naturalistic way flowing like a live drum solo peformence. Since 2004, this is the first step away illuminating his skills as a trained drummer. From dancehall and a full instrumental release from Kush to present all the influences of the past 5 years. The combination tunes with Sub Swara and J . Rogers span the desi 2 step and deep bass realms, while Kush’s ambient past is revealed on “The Staircase.” RecordLabelRecords was the very first label to release his music, and now proudly presents again half a decade later the evolution of the sound.

Over the past year Kush has shared the stage with the likes of Theivery Corp, The Bug, Flying Lotus, 2562, Digital Mystikz, Bassnectar, and countless others. His style has been sought after in the remix capacity by the likes of Balkan Beat Box, Zion I, and he continues his Dread Bass Chronicles tour through the fall with Juakali and MC Zulu. His work with the Surya Dub crew earned them best club night in San Francisco, and he has been featured in Pitchfork Magazine, BBC1, La Weekly, Urb, and XLR8R as well.
